trading the slopes for the sun

Canadian winters are extra long and gray, making it the perfect time to escape and book a sun vacation with Air Canada. Our task was to brighten Canadian winters and inspire sun travel.

bringing it to life

It started by bringing their Seize the Sun campaign to life in a fun, family-friendly way. We created the Seize the Sun Lounge, for guests to escape the cold and get inspired to take a sun vacation. Inside the Sun Lounge, we created a custom-branded claw machine for guests to literally seize the sun, winning them either a branded Air Canada beach ball or 1K Aeroplan Points to be used toward sun travel.

Guests also enjoyed custom hot chocolates and the outdoor adult or kid’s lounge areas. As part of the experience, we created a custom microsite and contest for guests to enter for a chance to receive Air Canada flights for their next family sun vacation.

the results

The weekend was a massive success, bringing in over 4,000 chilly Canadians to play, sip, and Seize the Sun.
